One of the main improvements that can be done is to use all SMD Components to reduce the formfactor, mounting holes, reverse polarity protection, etc. I have mentioned this project as v1.0 as there are so many things to improve in this project. The L298 Motor Driver Module is designed to improve usability of the module itself. A 3D view / render of the PCB is also available in KiCad. The PCB Layout is completely designed in KiCad. The power section involves a LDO Voltage Regulator 7805. The schematic is divided in two major section one with the Power and the other with the Motor Driver IC.
